i bought awc with stuck pistons i have the rod caps off with no luck on moving the pistons i have soaked this block for six months with diesel marvel mystery oil coke i tried them all any ideas i even tried a hydralic jack one old timer said to build a coal fire in the cylinders which will slowly realese the pistons

Sounds like everything in your engine is going to be junk. I did a WC once where I drilled holes through the pistons and made a puller. When I pulled, the pistons were so tight that it pulled the sleeves right out of the block. I didn't mind though...killed two birds with one stone. An overhaul kit with pistons and sleeves is not so expensive so just put in new. As long as you're doing all of the work, you might as well try to have it decent when done.

My '37 WC was similar. When I had the rod caps off I jacked the pistons out. Some I used a 3/4 inch shaft between the jack and the boss of the piston pin. Others I started with a u-shaped piece of steel going around the crank, in place of the rod cap- sort of like a deep-u rod cap. Then I could rotate the crank out of the way to access the pistons better. Last one was tough- had to have a skid loader bucket of sand sitting on the frame of the tractor to hold it down. Also a bar bolted above the liner to keep the liner in place. 12 ton jack did move it though. Be sure to mark each rod, cap, etc with a punch so you put them back in the same holes. If you need to replace a piston it's best to get a matched piston/ liner if you're replacing with used. Wouldn't put a different piston in a used liner. Would alway put in new rings- they will seat in a used liner.

i would say it is too late to assume the rings will be any good. pull the block, flip upside down, remove the crank. pound out the liners with piston inside from the block. you can heat the liner with a torch and see if the pistons press out in a hydraulic press. last resort is break out the pistons, get new pistons and rings, see if you can save the liners.
