I know a wd45 diesel has a 230ci engine, but what I want to know is what kind of turbo engine will bolt in to this tractor. I have found a 301ci out of a combine, will it work?

I have a 301 also and my measurement indicate it will not fit in there. It will fit in the W-17 or maybe the 19 tractor with either the 2800 or 2900 motors. Difference in 2800 and 2900 is the turbo. This is the info I have just recently came up with. I have a WD 45D and wish I could use the 2900 as a replacement but I could not shrink it that much.

The 262 was in the D-19 and was turbo. It will bolt in 45D. Hope this helps
