Radiator Color

Anyone if a G tractor Radiator was all orange or were the fins black and the body orange.. Thanks for the help.

i think most people are of the opinion that Allis did not build radiators, they bought them from a supplier and they came in painted black. Since things were assembled on a manual assembly line and then painted, most of the radiators were caught around the edges with orange paint. Some guys swear the tractor was panted orange, then the radiator installed, but that would make it more difficult to explaine the hood, etc. In general the tractors look good with black radiators, starters and generators. That appears to be an acceptable way to finish a tractor.
