I would like to add some independant hydraulics to my Wd for either 4 single action rams or 1 double and 2 single. What would be able to handle it, I am throwing the idea around of a PTO pump, belt driven pump off the front by the fan blade, belt driven off the side pulley or would even a snowplow type pump even work? Just don't want to install to small of a pump, is there a min. GPM I should use?

A hydraulic pump driven by the belt pulley leaves you with no hydraulics every time you push in the foot clutch. If you replace the crankshaft pulley with a crankshaft pulley for power steering, you gain one sheave which you can use for an underslung independent hydraulic pump. Another option is to mount a small pump forwrd of the crankshaft pulley using a direct drive system. Details are in archives.
