while painting my allis B I came across an uneven spot in the block. It apeared that someone had tried to fill this with epoxy.I scraped it all off and preped and painted the engine.Today i pulled the tractor outside to work on it and noticed oil coming out of that crack,I still have oil presure and the tractor runs fine. Can I just weld this from the outside? Any and all help with this problem will be greatly appretiated. The crack runs horizonal behind the carb. about 12 inches long.

that sounds like it is a crack at the bottom of the water jacket. I am not sure where the B engine blocks crack, but the larger W 201 engines used in WCs, WDs, WD45s, etc, crack there if frozen. You may be able to weld it, or do another epoxy repair. How about putting a on with a series of small screws using maybe 1/8" steel and #10 screws and some silicone gasker maker? Clean area well and it should work.
