Can someone provide me with production numbers and years produced, for the D-17 LPG High Crop. Any idea as to a high/low value for one in good condition, running? Thanks for your time.

Glen

According to Norm Swinford 421 were made. I have a "C" "CA" "WD45" "D17" "190XT" that are all high crops. I am interested in any information or photos of high crops. Thank you and have a good day.

I have an unstyled WC high crop (single front)- do you have any idea how many of these were produced?

James,

I also have an unrestored 1938 unstyled WC single front wheel with 28 inch rear cast wheels. They are shaped like the 36 inch California special wheels, but these are 28 inch. I have never seen these anywhere else. They are listed in the parts book, but it doesn't list a part number for them.

I don't have any idea about production figures. The best reference book I have found is Allis-Chalmers: Farm Equipment 1914-1985 by Norm Swinford.

Mike,
Thanks for the info. Out of the 421 any idea how many were LPG? What about the value? Where did you find all of the high crops? I can start taking some photos of the ones I find, if that will help you. Email me your address so I can email the pics. to you.
