Hi, I have a right hand brake lever that is frozen up. Has been since I bought the tractor. I have been putting PB Blaster at the pivot and try to work back and forth but only can move it about 2 inches back and forth, but not getting any better. Can anyone give me some insight on what I am up against and what I can possibly do to get this fixed. Since spring is coming I thought this would be a nice project to start with. How about any ideas of what I should also do while I am in there fixing this braking problem.

Thanks in Advance...

Scott, I posted you a picture of the pivot in "parts & pieces" The pivot wedge is loosely mounted on the bolt. The nut may be to close to the pivot, or the whole bolt may be in too tight.
If you need more pictures or this isn't the part you were talking about, just yell and I'll take you some more.

That mite be all the movement needed to lock brake, if not put heat to the houseing at the pivot point before you take it apart.
