Like Marty said the parts are high, the tractor has to be split, and the whole back end has to be dissembled nothing left inside when you start back togather. About a 30 to 40 hr job even when everthing works good. Shops charging $55-60 an hour, well it gets expensive. But I'd pay to have the 185 fixed rather than take what it will cost and put it against a later or new tractor of the same hp. just my .02
