Where to find the serial # on a WD 45

I'm looking for the correct serial # on a WD45. But I find a number just in front of the shift lever and a number on the end of the axle

The tractor serial number is on the rear vertical face of the differential, to the left of center, near the left edge. Near the hole that a brake spring is hooked in to.

When you step on the pto guard to get on the tractor the s/n will be right above your toe.
