What is the compression suppose to be on a wd-45?

Very few manufacturers specify a compression value. Most just say that the difference between the compression of the highest and the lowest cyls. should not exceed 10%. However, The WD-45 manual specifically states that the Compression Pressure (gas engine) should be 125# at 500 RPM.

My book doesn't have that info, but I know if its above 100 psi its fair to good. If I remember right new it should have been around 150 or so but anything above 100 is good for and old engine

I have tractors that have run on less then 75psi in the cylinders but they wheren't real strong. But I have had others that way that ran great, tune ups go a long ways in old tractors. Another thing use only copper core wire to the plugs it makes a very big differance
