differences between the 190XT and the 200?.

I was wondering what the differences were between a 190XT and a 200?. Do they both have the have amount of horsepower?, do they both use the same engine block and/or boring?, what other differences are there between the two?.

They are the same engine, hp etc. Minor upgrade in the transmission and a differant grill.

They modified the shift rods as well as the input gear and shift collar, to allow high gear to engage further. This was to eliminate the tendancy of it to jump out of gear. There was a repair kit that could be put in 190XT's that did the same thing. I think some very late 190's had the fix also.

thank you!, I had driven both a 200 and a 180, and the 180 didn't go into gears very far, but the 200 has a much more positive feel when you shift it and goes into gear much farther like you say. I also noticed the location of the hand clutch was moved to the right hand fender instead of the right hand side of the console like the 180.
