James, I had to do the same thing last summer. As I recall, I went to NAPA and bought a sheet of gasket material and made my own. It is an easy gasket to make. Does't leak and I still have most of the material left. Cost was maybe $10.00 but I always have a need for gasket material. HTH. Bob D.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, I AM PREPARED TO MAKE THE GASKET HOWEVER, I NEED TO KNOW IF THE GASKET COVERS THE COMPLETE BACK COVER OF THE PUMP OR IS IT A HALF GASKET.

James, If my memory serves me correctly, (sometimes it fails) it is a complete gasket covering the entire base with of course the section cut out for the water passage. HTH Bob D.
