Picked up an extra WD 45 Motor and am overhauling it, If I use a standard crankshaft, will I still need to place shims under the Main,s, The ones that I removed had no shims but the crank was .010 under. Thanks in advance

Maybe yes maybe no. Some people when they rebuild these engines remove the shims and have the block resized to fit the bearings without them. I'm not sure where to find out the size of the bores, maybe a machine shop can tell you, either way, you'll need to know. Hope this helps. Brian
