I am looking for a better shifter for my wd45 or for some parts to rebuild it, or for a place to get mine rebuilt. I would appreciate some suggestions. There isn't an Allis dealer around here anymore.

My shifer twists quite a bit and comes out place once in a while in the shifting forks.

Pete

You can buy or order all the parts and the shifter from AGCO

I have a curved shifter off my 1955 WD45 that I replaced last summer because every once in ahwile it would slip once a week about. I was told it was rounded on one corner and could be fixed at a welding shop?? Instead I spent around $200 for a new shifter ,pins, washer and locking clip for it. I have the shifter which is in nice shape if you're interested. I am thinking about putting it on e-bay?? Could send you a picture or 2 by tomorrow if you're interested. Let me know.

I would be interested in looking at it. I just pulled the one that I have out and the groove on the ball is really worn. Mine is a '53 wd45 and it only has one pin on the left side. If yours doesn't pan out, where did you buy the new one? Parts around here are hard to find for an allis.

Pete
