I have a front end loader on my WD. It works fine with the factory pump. Allis Chalmers made their own loader. Their is a picture of a stock loader at: http://www.adeptr.com/wd.htm It's amazing what it will lift. Remember, the WD has a 3000 PSI hydraulic system.

I've seen trip bucket manure loaders on a CA which used the tractor hydraulic pump (the CA pump is very similar to the WD pump), but there are a lot of limitations: (1) the tractor pump will only work one-way rams; (2) a supplemental hydraulic/transmission oil reservior is required so you don't leave the transmission dry when you pump a lot of oil into the loader rams; (3) the WD is a high pressure low volume system where as most current hydraulic systems are lower pressure high volume (the WD hydraulic pressures can be as much as twice that for other tractors); and (4)with a selector valve, the tractor hydraulic pump can work the loader or the hitch arms, but not both at once.

Tractor Hydraulics - The Basics - by Curtis Von Fange. Hydraulics was one of the greatest inventions for helping man compound the work he can do. It’s amazing how a little floor jack can lift tons and tons of weight with just the flick of a handle. What’s even more amazing is that all the principals of hydraulic theory can be wrapped up in such a small package. This same package applies to any hydraulic system from the largest bulldozer to the oldest and smallest tractor. This short series will take a look at the basic layout of a simple hydraul
