AC-B throwout bearing

hello all. my question is, is the bearing carrier cast from steel or cast iron? mine is worn pretty bad on the ears and i am considering welding and redressing them. also anyone have a spare set of good fingers for the pressure plate that you could part with? mine are about 1/16 inch thick. seems that's pretty thin. thanks, greg

three fingers on mine were very thin on the curved top also. i put wire feed welder on low and builtup the top. dressed them down so they are now twice as thick as the worn ones. set assembly on a table and used a dial indicator to see that all had the same standout.
