the front end of the motor is the same. there are different "radiator mounts" that bolt to the front of the motor. the bottom half of the mount holds the axle. of course you will need the bracket for the wide front end, not the pedestol type for the narrow front. next the gear box for the steering is different on the B than the C. the B arm on the box points down, the arm on the C points up. if you dont switch the gear box, you will turn right when the steering wheel turns left.

I just talked to an old guy last week who told me he has a C that turns the opposite way he turns steering wheel. I thought he was starting to go a little goofy, but from what Steve is saying, I bet someone put a B front on his C without changing the steering box. Do you suppose that's what is wrong with his C?

if the gear box fails and you change it with another model, B for C or C for B, it will steer backward. might not have nothing to do with the front end.---- with a wide front B on a C you could run the steering arm from the C gear box with arm UP to the left front wheel, but that would look kind of wierd.---

I'm not sure, but you might be able to get away with changing the steering rod with the worm gear on the end of it and the arm that comes off the pinion that points down instead of up.
