I reciently picked up a WD45 minus engine. This piece has been out behind a barn for approx. 20 yrs. I somehow remember that some of the engines made by AC were interchangable with the Waukesha engines. Is this so, and if it is what Waukesha engine would I be looking for. Does not have to be stock, in fact more horses would bring "bragging rights" any help will be greaty appre. Thanks, Mike

Wauk was from the 30's. You are looking for a WD45, D17 or Gleaner combine motor. all basically the same block.
