I have located a nice wide front wd45 for sale, but it has snap coupler system. Can a conversion kit be purchased to make it a 3 pt? If yes, any suggestion for a parts source? Thanks.

The original Allis-Chalmers brand snap coupler 3-pt is excellent. Category II, convertible to Cat I; has it's own top link & it's built tough. Only drawback- have to drop it & snap in original drawbar for drawbar work.

Yes, you can get a conversion that just snaps into the snap-coupler and uses the lift arms to raise it...works real good, too..!! It would let the "Traction Booster" work with 3-point plows, too..!! If ya do get one, get this type, the others use a bunch of brackets and are a job to put on and take off..

The snap coupler system actually is a lot better than the 3-point. Problem is of course, if you have 3-point implements already, you can not use them with the snap coupler. For my WD I simply bought used snap coupler items I needed.

Won't the 3-point aftermarket units that attach the sway block to the original snap coupler draw bar also allow the traction booster to be effective with the mounted 3-point equipment?
