Allis Chalmers D15 locked up 2 questions

1st question what years did Allis Chalmers make a D15 tractor?
2nd question the D15 is locked up. It can be pulled with the clutch depressed. What is the best way to determine if the engine or the transmission is locked up?

D15; WAS MADE IN 1960 THRU 1962 AND THE D15 II WAS MADE FROM 1963 THRU 1967.
SHOULD IMAGINE THE PARTS SUPPLY WILL BE
A BIT OF A CHALLENGE. GOOD LUCK.

Wellyou answer your own question when you said it could be pulled with the clutch pushed in which means the tranny is free. Your engine is locked I use turpentine to unlock stuck engines, other use PB blaster etc

If it will roll with the foot clutch depressed your engine is lock-up. If it will only roll with the Power-Director (hand clutch) in the center you might have transmission trouble.

I have a 3rd question on the Allis Chalmers D15. In 1st gear what would the ground speed or MPH be for the power takeoff to be turning 540 rpm. Richard Wilson

My book says 1.8 M.P.H. Also says P.T.O. turns 549 R.P.M. at 1650 engine R.P.M. regardless of transmission gear.
