Drag a 3-pt Disc Harrow behind a Allis B?

Anyone tried pulling a 3-pt disc with a Allis B? How would you harness it up? The old ones are hard to find and I didn't want to convert to 3-pt as it would be imposible to use original implements with 3-pt mounted. 5-foot would be adaquate of a disc for my needs.

Tommy,

I don't know how much you want to invest, but my Model B has a Worksaver 3-point hitch that only uses 4 bolts to mount to the tractor plus the hydraulic connection. Two bolts go to the fender brackets, two bolts go to the draw bar, and then the hydraulic connection. I can have it off and on in less than 10 minutes, and it works great.

Tom, im not quite sure what you are trying to do, but if you have access to a 3 point disc and want to use it on a B, all you need to do is have two heavy steel straps, maybe 1/2 inch thick and 3 inches wide about 3 feet long. hole on end of each to slide over the 3 point pins. other two ends connect together onto 1 pin on your drawbar. forget the top link. if you dont have a disc, look for an old 7 ft that is worn out, but is adjustable angle on the gangs. they still cut fine even if 3 or 4 discs are gone, or you use front two gangs and leave the back two off. we pulled an 8 ft with a C, just cant get too aggressive. 5 or 6 ft would be great.

Seems to me it may be better to leave both alone and pick up a used disc or go to tractor supply or a similar outlet and buy a new one. If you not to aggresive in use even a cheaper model would last years. Down side, most not made in US. Just my thoughts.
