Just purchased a nice runner at auction Tue. here in northern Minnesota. Need to transport it 80 miles to my home. Can anyone tell me what the weight is with no attachments/implements but "wet"? Also would like to know the weight distribution-front wheels<>rear wheels? I have a 3500# trailer, but only a single axel. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I just transported a 1950 Mod. B 100 miles on exactly the same trailer that you have. My B had fluid in the tires. I had to inflate the trailer tires to 45# to get it home, but I made it OK.

The B weighs about 2000# with no attachments. If the tires aren't loaded it should be a little front heavy. A tandem axle trailer would be better but if you take it easy it should be OK for 80 miles. Check the load rating on your trailer tires and make sure they are in good condition before you load it .

I just purchased a 1949 mod. B and had to transport it about sixty miles home. I rented a 4000# dual axle trailer since my tractor had a cultivator and bush mower and I didn't want to make two trips. I found when I put it on the trailer that it was front heavy putting more weight on the hitch than I wanted ..I had to let the bush mower hang over the back of the trailer some to lessen the weight on the hitch. Hope you enjoy your mod. B as much as I like mine.
