At one point in here, someone was talking about getting a Woods Belly Mower to fit a '39B. I can't seem to find one used so does anyone know if Woods will make a belly mower to fit a '39 B that doesn't have hydraulics. Yes, I think this is going to be expensive to get a mower made for me but it's for my toy....

Thanks

Even if you spend 1500 on a new one, that is what you would pay for a wal mart mower that may last 5 years. With care the Woods should outlast you. I wish you lived closer to me, there's a B for sale nearby complete with mower for $1000.00 Good luck!

Chris, if you cant find a used mower that is in PERFECT condition, You will end up spending more for parts. Mowers see hard use at best, and dont age well. Woods mowers can be ordered with a compleat hand lift for the B.

Check your local lawn equipment dealers. Most dealers around these parts handle Woods mowers and can order you one to fit your Allis B. The last time I priced a new one it was a little over 1500.00 I bought a used one for my B for 600.00 and I had to do some repair.
