i bought a WD=45D and i started to pull in apart and fount that the block is cracked does anyone think i shoudl fix it or should i part it out. i am by cleveland OH if i part it out i will let you know

Where is the crack? Your solution maybe simpler than you realize, it may not require repair at all.

I'd try to have it repaired, there are not many diesels left these days so it has some pretty good value. You can repair it or find a used block somewhere. A lot of those cracks can be repaired. Dave

Sam there's a bunch of ways those cracked blocks can be fixed depending on where it is, how bad and all. Unless the whole thing is junk I'd go for a fix, depending of course on how bad and where. God Bless and Happy New Year. Pon
