good uses for WD45 ?

Am looking at buying a WD45 for acreage for belly-
mowing and loading. This one is a narrow front end with a two point hitch. Will this tractor work for me. Am not familiar with AC two point uses. The tractor comes with no implements.

There is one thing that nobody has addressed for you. After you mentioned that you are not familiar with the AC two-point hitch, somebody should have told you that they are REALLY three point. If you look under the belly of the tractor you will find a cup-like attachment where the front end of the drawbar is inserted. That is a snap coupling that serves as the third point for AC implements. As somebody noted, those types of implements are fairly common, but it is also fairly easy to find a "normal" three-point hitch that hooks right into the three points on the Allis and lets you use anybody's equipment.

I have a 1953 WD and use it for every thing. Mine has a wide front end. I have some of the Snap-couple impelments and have also made a 3-point hitch for it.I don't have a belly mower, but with the HP that the WD-45 has it with do a great job for you. The uses that I use mine for are the following baling, plowing, discing, spraying, bushhogging, blading, just a good all arond tractor. If I were you, I would go with a 3-point hitch finish mower, it would be a lot easiler to put on and take off when you wanted to use the tractor for other uses. The Allis that I had before this one was a narrow front and there was uses that I like it better for, but over all the wide front end will serve you better. One of the jobs that I liked the narrow better is mowing, the tractor will turn sharper.

A WD45 will make a powerful belly mower tractor although the C and the CA are more popular. An endloader will work alright on the WD45, but it has one way hydraulics so you are stuck with a trip bucket unless you add a pto or motor pulley hydraulic pump. The snap coupler implements are relatively plentyiful in the midwest, it just depends where you are.

don't know how well a belly mower works (i use a b farmall for that) on a wd, but the narrow front would be better than a wide front.
for a loader a wide front would be better, but if you're careful a narrow front is alright.
as for the snap coupler hitch, 3 pt conversions can be had or buy original equipment, whichever is cheaper in your area.
