My wife was given a B like her father had. It's in need of restoration. I believe it's a 1940 model. Hand start, no electrical. At present it has 6-85 x 15 tires on the front. These a regular hy-way tires. What are the correct size? I'm guessing 5-50x15. Also. The front wheels don't match any that I've seen in photos. These are rims on cast centers. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Welcome to Allis world. The fronts should be 4.00 X 15. Do you have bolts who's heads are square with a bevel holding the centers to the rims? Those would be original, at least thats what my '39 has. Most parts are available depending on what you need.

Have fun, my '39 and '41 are costing me a fortune but I love saving these tractors. Charlie

The parts manual lists only a 5.00x15 for the cast center wheels. I have seen both and in my opinion the 5.00x15 looks better then the 4.00x15.

Thanks guys. I can see that I'll be spending abit on her. She's worth it. Both of them. We've got two other working tractors on the ranch,a L2250 Kabota with loader and an International 574. They'er up keep keeps me busy. Has anyone heard of a Mead Speedcat? I've got one of those too. I used it around the place and to build our house. It's waiting restoration too. I need to retire.
