Eldon, thanks for confirming the manufacturing year. I deal with the Ford N's. I do NOT know what "WC" stands for...do you? Please let me know! I live in Northern CA...40 miles East of Sacramento. I got this tractor as part of a trade. I have 90% of the orginal tractor. I'm trying to give this tractor to someone that is into "WC's"? as I am into the Ford N's. This could be another tractor of the past returned to a working tractor of today...

WC dont stand for anything. This is the origianl tractor that grew up to be a WD then WD45 the D17. The old WC had a "truck " type rear axle as compared to the newer tractors. Also you might have a PTO, but probably no hydraulics. Basically a "pull implement" tractor.

And then it became a 170 I think, same engine anyway, but a little more power with each new model of tractor.
