I could pull 2 spark plug wires of my pulling WC, and it still would out pull a 2N. Heck, I would put her in 3rd gear and pull half throttle, and still pull it back to the barn. I would hate to see me hit the clutch and the momentum still outpull it, lol. Happy Hunting!!

HI Dave, First let me say the famous line from your state "SHOW ME". I will let you in on a little secret of mine, I own a Ford 9N, and I own a Allis WC. First off, the Allis out weighs my Ford. Now here is my testing, and its fair. My Ford has fluid in its tires, chains on the back wheels, and a 6ft blade. My allis has tires, no fluid, no chains, and a 7ft blade. I can push more dirt, more snow than my little ford. I like my Ford and I like my Allis, but lets get realistic. When it comes to power I will always fire up the Allis before the Ford, Now when it comes to other tasks for tight places, on steep hillsides, then I grab the Ford. Dave buddy, I would say you have picked the wrong topic of discussion, but by chance you are ever up in Iowa with your 2N, just place an ad in the Des Moines Register on wanting to do a challenge against Allis Chalmers, and baby look out for the sea of Orange that will follow.....Better go back over to the Ford Discussion and do your boasting there, you might get a better following even if it is Fiction.

I've never seen a 2N,9N or 8N EVER win at a tractor pull! That's because they don't let you take toys out on the track...they'll get squashed! Just real tractors get to play on the track...ALLIS! Not the crappy Fords with their cute little paint jobs or the "green with envy,because they can't win" olivers. You boys need to get yourselves a real tractor and quit putting your money into useless toys that you can't use,but just sit and look at! Get an Allis and start winning at the pulls,plus you can use them every day for the work chores and actually get some work done! You all sound like a bunch of choir boys. I think it's time for you Ford guys to pull your pants up now and go back on over to the Ford site where you belong. I'm sure they'll welcome you back with open arms and have a shoulder for you to cry on.

around here if it ain't green with red wheels, you might as well stay home. although a club not far from here has a class for 2750 &3000, that it has to have 24" tires & had to come with 24" tires. some orange rule cause they couldn't run with the real tractors. i should build a 66 standard & but they would just make another rule.

Personally I know from experience growing up on a farm in northwest mo.and being around tractors all my life that I still have yet to see a ford other than the big boys ever go to a pull let alone against an allis,Dont get me wrong Fords are great chore tractors and I wouldnt be ashamed to own one,but when it gets down to the heavy stuff,whether its pulling a combine or a sled,my moneys on my WD-45.

I guess you have some pretty bad nightmares, maybe you should see a shrink about them, I did not know that 2n fords were allowed in lawn mower pulls, Its nice of them to let the little guys in.

I know what you mean. I also have an Allis garden tractor that a 2N could out-pull. On the other hand, the Allis WD that I owned could probably have pulled two 8N's backwards! Okay, so that might be a little exaggeration, but you get the point I think.

I have lost count of how many 2n's we have pulled out of the mud with our WD! What were you pulling against? An AC garden tractor?

Guys, here in NC we have a term for that. Its called "Pulling your leg". And that's about all he's really pulling.
