Before I break something, Is the crank pully held on the shaft just with the screw and locknut? It's on a "B" engine.

The setscrew with locknut behind the pully is what locks in place on the key. The pully is pressed on and will need apuller to remove it. A regular three jaw puller can and some times will break the pully. I have a slotted piece of 1/4" steel slotted to go behind the pully to spread the pressure over a greater ares. If they give me much resistance I use heat on the hub at the same time as I put pressure on the puller.

Thanks Dick. I've broken many a pully and didn't want to do this one. I ahve a 3 jaw but will take the time to build a puller. Got lots of time, gonna be a long winter.
