Got a call from a guy today that says he has a D-15 and a WD-45 that are both tricycle types for sale. Did they ever make the D-15 as a tricyle type??? I've never seen one if they have...Thanks

It took me a while, but here in Oklahoma, everyone calls a narrow frona tricycle. Everytime somone would say they had a tricycle, I would go running to see the rare tractor. Which is funny, because tricycles bring about 2/3 of a wide front when sold. It's relatively hilly around here, and everyone is afraid of narrows. But then again, I have had friends roll wide fronts.

Is it possible to put a wide front on a D-15??? Here in NC I have not seen a D-15 with a narrow front, but as you guys have seen more than I have... Also did the D-15's have 3 point hitch, or the fast hitch??? What would a D-15 be worth with the narrow front?

Are you talking single front wheel or dual? Roughly 20% of gas D15s were NF, a lot less diesel models came from the factory with the narrow fronts. There doesn't appear to be any records for the D15 SFW if they did exist. Of course the D14 was available with SFW, and someone could have swapped one from a D14 easy enough.

Here in Alabama you see a lot of both (nr)&(wf) D series ALLIS tractors
