I have ben watching all these value questions and responses. It is interesting how location plays a big role. I am in the UP of Michigan and in the southern part a 1940 B can get $1800 to $2100 without implements.

Maybe its got something to do with the city farmers that come up here for the summer but in any case I have had good luck selling them. Just made a $1000
on an old Farmall A.

It's a good buy, assuming there are no cracks in that skinny cast iron housing between the differential and the transmission. Once that goes, the tractor is out of business. Otherwise, sweetest little tractor in the world.

Don't waste your time here-go buy it before it gets away. If I knew where it was you wouldn't stand a chance! Just kidding-that is a good buy for a B.

if a B runs and looks beat up i pay $600. If it dont smoke and has two new rear tires and complete, it could be $1000 without the implements. Paint and quality sheetmetal may add a few hundered dollars. The disc could be $100-$300 depending if the bearings are good on shafts. The mower deck can be $300 for a cheap model and up to $1000 if it is a nice WOODS. for $700 i would buy it sight unseen.
