Does anyone know anything about the 170?? I know of one for sale. I would want to put a loader on it and want to know what kind I can use and what a used loader would cost. Also, how reliable is this tractor and does it start well in winter?? Thanks in advance, JW

My Dad purchased a 170 in the early 1970's,new,from the dealer. We have many hours on it over the years and still use it today, especially using a front loader. I have no idea of cost of loaders, but the brand name of the three we have are EZ-ON.

They are agreat little tractor. Loaders in the midwest range from 500 to 3000 depening on make and where you buy it. If it is a gas it has the same motor as a D-17 they start any time and last forever.
