NEED SOME 190 CARB KNOWLEDGE

We're working on an AC 190, and need some help. The problem is as follows..... someone took the carb off to rebuild it, and managed to lose some of the pieces. Rather than try to piece-meal it back together, we're just going to start fresh with a rebuilt one.....which is where the dilemma is coming in. I'm trying to figure out which one I need and will work. The serial number on the tractor appears to be 1902208C. I assume the 190 portion is just to identify the model, and the 2208 is the true serial number which I think puts this as a 1964 model, and I have no clue what the C is for.

Anyhow, the carb that came off of the tractor is a Holley and is stamped with LIST - 2871. I just picked up a rebuilt one to replace it, but I'm not sure it's the right one. They really only had two....the first one they brought out was a Zenith for a 190, with the 2800 engine. We could tell immediately that things wouldn't line up the same as the Holley. So they went back and pulled out one for a 190XT. It's a Holley, and looks virtually identical to the naked eye, but most of the stamping on the carburetor has been ground off....all I can make out is what appears to be LIST - ???7-2. Now that I'm looking through their catalog, I see one other one that might work....it says it's for a 190 and replaces Mfr. number TSX848 & 950 (but it doesn't specify for which engine).

This tractor just has the 2500 motor, so can anyone tell me which carbs will or will not work? Is it a rare carb that goes on the 190 with the 2500 motor?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Also, from the reading I've done in the discussion forum, it sounds like the rear-end in these are relatively weak for the motor. How can I tell if it's been upgraded?

That's kind of the problem. This is a G2500 motor. When I had them pull the same 13303 carb you're referring to (which was also noted by them that it was for the G2800), it was definitly different in where the air intake pipe was positioned, as well as the throttle linkage assembly.

I went back in yesterday, and they offered to just rebuild the one I had, and would make sure all the parts were there. Anyhow, they called back late last night and said it was done, so I'm assuming everything must have been there. I guess I'll find out over thanksgiving weekend how she runs.

Thanks.
