Well let's see: yes you could use a 262 and possibly a 276 Buda. You would need the diesel radiator, throttle linkage, starter, generator, fuel tank, battery box, wiring harness... you know it would be cheaper and easier to just find a diesel one with a bad engine.

What is a 276 Buda? I am familiar with a 262 but am not aware of the 276. What were these engines used in? Thanks

what tractor did the buda engine come in? so far finding a diesel chasis is almost impossible where I am located the ones you do find are so high that you can buy a decent d17. Also what kind of hp. does the buda engine have? an can you tell the difference in the 262
