hello all. i have a couple of questions. we bought an allis C at sale over the weekend. runs ok. it has an adjustable width wide front end on it. it has spoked wheels on the front end. it doesn't seem to be a butcher job. looks and works well. was this aftermarket or an option from AC? it also came with a single bottom pull plow. plow is painted AC orange. it's complete with a steel trailing wheel. does anyone have an idea of what model plow this might be? the tractor was changed over to 12 volt but they did a nice job of it. more questions later. thanks, greg

I asked the same question from an allis junkyard about 10 yrs ago when my fathers c front rims rusted out. They sent a nice letter to my dad stating that although the tractor was not designed with front spoked rims; that, during the war with all the rations, the factory played thier part and used up the old stock rims they had stored, cut them down, and mounted rubber on them. so yes it could have very well come from the factory this way during the war

I had a narrow front c with spokes and they wern't cut offs. I asked the question a while back and didn't about the spokes but didn't hear any responce. I have since sold the tractor. It was on rubber all the way around. If memory serves me it was a 42 I think.
