Pete,
That's a good deal providing its all there. Sleeve kits are available for them. I have a B that I restored a few years ago, and put all four sleeve kits in so the engine was "fresh". Each sleeve kit comes with sleeve, rings, piston, o-rings & piston pin. We don't keep the kits in stock but can get them. The Model B is a fabulous little machine! Go for it!

Personally, after paying a little more than your stating, and knowing what I had to put into my Allis B engine to get it where I have it now, I think $300 is a darn good price. I don't know how much of the work you may be able to do yourself, but to have someone else, say a machine shop overhaul it and you provide all necessary parts, your looking at putting little under or right at $1000 if you go ahead and do a full blown overhaul of the engine. Now, a single cylinder sleeve would most likely be considerably less. --JPM

If all it needs is one sleeve kit, you will have a deal. Even if you had to put more into it,these are good tractors, simple, rugged, reliable, and a lot of power.
