Purchased a CA three months ago. Tranny fluid was very low. Drained and put in new. The tractor won't pull much of a load. Up a little incline it alone, will slowly stop. What is the problem - I'm a rookie at tractor repair! Also, the snap-coupler lift doesn't. Any insight/instant repairs would be appreciated. Going to read the manual sometime this weekend as a last resort. So much to do now-that is why I am up at this hour. Going to make coffee and off to track down one, hopefully two, old round orange balers. Wish me luck. Thanks in advance. This tractor/implement stuff is addictive-glad there aren't drugs to take for it!

Crank her up and push in the foot clutch, engage the PTO , put her in gear and drive up your slight incline, when she stops moving look at the PTO shaft , if it is stopped also it is your foot clutch that is your problem. If the PTO is still turning but the wheels have stopped it is your hand clutch that is the problem. If you are old like me it is easier if you have some one walk along with you to keep an eye on the PTO.

A1L, Oil may have leaked out the seal on the side where the hand clutch is. Hand clutch may be slipping cause of the oil leak. Engage the PTO to operate the hydralics, its the handle on right side under the seat. Dale
