Have located in Central Iowa, unrestored Allis Chalmers Road Grader Serial AD3-2165 with cab. Sweet Running 371 Detroit Diesel direct start (with blower). All blade and scarifier mechanical controls are functional. Glass broken out of cab and electric brakes do not work. Any idea how rare and market value?

Steve, The AD3 is a good machine but not rare or very valuable. The large machines like that are difficult to transport and need plenty of space to operate. I own one that I bought complete and running that I paid $1500 for. The small D series graders will bring more than double that in good condition. But if you have the desire go for it. They are a expirience to operate. Just remember it's a grader not a bulldozer. Chuck
