Just had to brag a little. Bought a D17D for $400.00 in July. Finally got to really tinkering with it and found the injection pump wasn't pumping. Removed it and had it rebuilt. Picked up yesterday after work (YIKES $685.00) had to have a new head assembly to fix it. Installed it and got it running last night about dark. Still, for $1200.00, Ive got a good running D17 D. Couldn't make it pop out or any gear, power director works great. Just need to start doing all the little things now. Think I've got a keeper, and its Allis Chalmers. Can't beat that anyday. Bob D.
