Would first & second gear be the same in D10 as a C or CA. I don't have parts book for D10 to check out. Thanks for any info.

hello bw. according to my parts breakdown on the trans. in question d-10 and the ca have the same gears by tooth number and by casting numbers. HOWEVER once the d-10 serial number goes from 3501 up to 9000 they are totally different gears..so if your serial is from 3500 on down the ca gears will work according to this book. if you would like to confirm this information call wengers at 1-800-451-5240. also ask for thier tractor parts catalog, its free, and they have all these gears in stock. tell them big john sent ya.

The gears between the C and CA are totally different. There are no interchangeable oarts in the transmission between a C and a CA.
