I recently bought a 1962 D19 (gas) not running for a project.After having alot of fun fixing it so it runs I have decided to sell or swap it somehow but dont have a clue what they are worth.Anyone have any input,I dont see many adds for them and can only assume they are getting scarce.Thanks in advance.

good machine, just not a collectors item. these are farm units as Erin says. If you can afford the gas to keep it running, its a big, nice unit. I agree, $3500 is above average price. Cost that much to get a nice D17 or D10.

I have one and wouldn't sell it for the prices I've seen. Paid $1500 with implements. Good condition, not much paint. I would like it to be desiel, but thats a different story. I don't think it's a getting scarce thing I think it has more to do with usability. The d-19 is large enough to still be used on smaller farms (1-200 a). As is the IH x06 series. Give it a few more years and that may change. Of the ones I have priced, a running but rough $1500-2000, decent paint worker $2500-3500. Sure not going to buy many other 65hp tractors for that. Heck can't buy many 35hp tractors for that.
