Can someone tell me more about this tractor, or where on this site I can find info out on it. What hp, weight, ind or live pto, hyd pump output,etc, or comments good or bad. It is a D-17 gasoline, and has a loader. Also what would this tractor be worth. Good metal, paint slightly dull. It appears as if this tractor was "shedded" most of the time and has newer tires. This tractor is not in my "Nebraska tractor test" book. Thanks in advance.

Mark, there were 4 series of the D17 starting about 1958 and going till the mid 1960s. Later tractors have better hydraulics, maybe a 3 point, various improvements. THat being said, the early 17s are very good tractors. Father in law had a III and it was one of the best tractors allis ever built. I dont know the exactos, but it weigh over 4000 pounds and had close to 50 HP. HP to weight ratio aws always good for the allis tractors. I sold the III three years ago for $2500. It was a little rough, but had 3 point, and no attachments. YOU see the early units for $2000 or above, and the series IV might be $3500 for a nice unit. THe loader might add $1000 if it is a good one. Lot of the price depends on tires, condition of the motor, etc.

#635 is not in my tractor test book, as it is not a comprehensive book. Is there a link to the tests on the internet? Otherwise, I would be gratefull if you could give me the HP and tractor weight if you have it in front of you. Thanks
