Can anyone tell me if this is the original/ correct radiator and lower elbow for this tractor? All information I have shows that the drain cock is located in the elbow, but this one is in the radiator. The tractor is B4211. Also what are my options for cleaning/ sealing the inside of the gas tank? Thanks in advance to all that reply, Im only 19 and this is my first restoration and I want it to be done as close to original as possible.

Ferguson65, I can not tell you how helpful buying a "Dealers Parts Catalog" "B, IB, & C Tractors" part # 79009414 Form D-26 has been for me. I'm your senior and I'm restoring my '38 Allis B. I paid $22.16 plus taxes for the book and I think that price included shipping. On pages 75, 77 & 78, there is an explosion view of the radiator assembly. Everyone has a drain cock valve on the bottom of the elbow assembly, maybe an inch away from the hose clamp, ...and the valve dosen't look anthing like yours. Email me if you want me to send you scanned picture. Again, this investment will be a God send for answers as to "what's original".--JPM

Go with POR-15 for the gas tank. Get their motorcycle kit $27.95. Has everything you need + good directions.

HI DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING I HAVE SEEN BEFORE.
KELLER'S HAVE GAS TANK SEALER. DROP A CHAIN INTO THE TANK[ BE SURE TO KEEP I END OUT] AND SHAKE IT AROUND TO REMOVE RUST AND OTHER RESIDUE, THEN COAT WITH SEALER. GOOD LUCK, HOPE TO BUMP INTO YOU AGAIN. BOB
