WD-45 and haybines

Is anybody out there using a WD45 gas to pull a
haybine? (especially NH variety). May restore my
tractor if I know it can happen. I have already
heard that the hydraulic can be modified for a double acting hydraulic. Thanks in advance

I used a WD-45 Diesel to pull my NH 469 haybine for years. Just use an older AC single hosen hydralic cylinder. Works just fine, and third gear is just about the right speed too. Be careful not to overspeed the haybine because the Allis is a little fast on the PTO. Shortens sickle bushing life.
