I have an allis chalmers buil 6-9-49 with a serial number of AM-36-34-6 at the end of the serial number is a H with a circle aroung it and an X over it. Can anyone help me in finding out some info on it? I believe it was a demo model as that it was the only ones that were painted Blue.

thats a casting number not a serial number. Check you E-mail, you got a couple of pictures. If you have a smll unit with no main frame down the sode of the motor, then it is a B or C and serial number is by the shift lever. If it is a WD or WD45 then yyou have a c-channel frame on the tractor side of motor and the serial number is on the rear axle by left brake cover. write back when you get more info.
