Helleo,
i have just drain the hydrulic fulid from my allis WD for the first time. i got water and gear oil in stead of hydrulic fulid. then i drained the transmission fulid out and i got the same thing but not as much as i thouht i would get. so i was thinkin to myself could the seal be broken between the trans and the Hydrulic? my question is could it be broken between there is that a common thing. will that hurt the hydrulic pump in there. thanks!

Since you don't know what the previous owner had in there it is possible he put the same type of lub in both. I have never had the problem of water in the hyd oil but it is fairly common in the tranny, If the rubber gear shift boot is missing, or cracked and worn, rain will get in there. Myself, I would refill each with the proper lube and then keep an eye on the levels. If leaking one should go down and the other up.
