I frequently see postsd here about someone with a B with a stuck engine. Itreminds of the year I worked in a marina taking boats out in the spring and putting them away in the fall. One of the mechanics had figured out a cute little trick. At least I thought it was cute. It went like this; Disconect/shut off the fuel supply with the engine running. Before the gas in the carb has run out, squirt a 50/50 mixture of motor oil and gas into the carburetor with the engine reved up. This would eventually choke the engine but before it died, everything got a good coat of oil inside including the exhaust system. Not only did it run the gas out of the carb, but it kept the rings and valves free. We never had a problem with restarting in the spring. Our boats were stored in a very damp, moist atmosphere. I hope this helps someone. Regards, Rich

You can get a product called fogging oil made specifically for this purpose.

I have done this with regular engine oil, dump a half quart into the carb fast enough to shut down a reving engine, some use Marvel Mystery Oil. I think using something is better than using nothing here, may not matter much what it is.
