I just payed 1000 delivered for my WD in running condition and it was painted, but it was a narrow front. why dose that take away from it value if it a narrow front.

Are you meaning it is a 1950 model WD? Or a WD 45?
If it is a WD with a narrow front, $800-1000, add about $400-500 if it has a good wide front. If it is a WD45, add $250 to the price, depending narrow or wide front. That's about the going price in MN.
