My son is bringing home 1946 WC that belonged to his great grandfather. It was running 10 years ago but has not been started since.Anyone know what type and weight of oil is best for this tractor? Thanks.

You might want to drop the oil pan and clean out any sludge. Change to a good 10W-30 and let it run. If there was lots of sludge in the pan, you should changing the oil and filter at short intervals for the first few times.

If you are talking about motor oil, just use a good grade of 10w30, same as you put in your truck.
