BOB, I HAV E HAD A D-14 FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS NOW AND IT IS A 1958 MODEL. IT CAME WITH A FRONT LOADER, 6FT BLADE AND BRUSHOG, I HAVE SINCE BOUGHT 6FT FINISH MOWER AND HAVE RESTORED IT BY PAINTING IT AND OVERHAULING ENGINE WITH NEW RINGS BEARINGS SEAL ETC. IT RUNS LIKE A TOP AND DO ALOT WITH IT ON THE 10ACRES THAT I LIVE ON. I GAVE 2500 FOR IT AND SINCE MY OVERHAUL AN
D PAINTING IT I WOULDN"T TAKE 5000 FOR IT! ITS A GREAT TRACTOR AND IT WILL DO ABOUT ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT IT TO DO. IT WILL PULL A TWO BOTTOM PLOW AND WILL RUN ALL DAY ON A TANK OF GAS. I BUY MY PARTS FOR IT FROM CT FARM AND COUNTRY OUT OF DESMOINES, IA. HAVE FUN WITH IT BECAUSE IT IS A LOT OF FUN TO PLAY WITH. DAN

Bob, your D-14 has according to Nebraska Tractor testing lab about 24.5 HP at the drawbar and 32.6 on the pto. This would be a good mowing or baling tractor as it has a live pto and maybe power steering also. Have fun with your new toy. Brian

Bob it really all depends on what work you want the tractor to do. Also does it have a three point hitch? The D-14 is a good size tractor and will accomodate a wide varitey of attachments. For example, if you live in snow country a blade would be a handy implement. One thing that will get a lot of work is a "carry-all" platform. This hooks to the rear and makes a deck or box that lifts up. It can be used to move things around and carry tools or supplies. Have fun with your tractor!
